Dermot is an experienced litigation and dispute resolution specialist with particular depth in alternative dispute resolution across complex, high value commercial and public sector disputes. He advises public bodies, State bodies, insurers and commercial clients on dispute strategy spanning High Court litigation, domestic and international arbitration, statutory adjudication and a wide range of ADR mechanisms, including mediation, conciliation and expert determination, particularly in the construction and real estate sectors.

Dermot is frequently engaged at an early stage to assess litigation risk, manage procedural strategy and drive proportionate, cost effective resolution of disputes. His experience includes leading multi party matters, coordinating expert and eDiscovery processes, and engaging in various forms of ADR and negotiating settlements in disputes involving significant financial and reputational exposure.
