Linda White is a Senior Real Estate Partner with exceptional experience in acquisitions and dispositions, workouts, joint venture relationships and structuring, financing, leasing (representing both owner/landlords and tenants), corporate real estate management and telecommunications. She has played, and continues to play, a leading role in some of the largest real estate transactions in Chicago and throughout the U.S. and counsels clients during challenging and rapidly changing times.
Linda represents Blackstone Group LP, the current owner of Willis Tower, in the US$650+ million renovation that includes redevelopment of the iconic 110-story Tower and the addition of 300,000 square feet of new retail, dining and entertainment space. In the last economic downturn she represented Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. in the foreclosure/workout, stabilization and subsequent disposition of Lehman’s debt and equity positions in real estate projects across the country, with the post-bankruptcy goal of maximizing the value of the debtor's estate. In the current economic downturn Linda is representing MetLIfe on some of its assets, including a prominent vertical mall in downtown Chicago.
