Leo is Co-Chair of the firm’s Real Estate and Real Estate Special Opportunities departments and advises clients on complex real estate transactions, development projects, and distressed investment opportunities. He regularly represents private equity, hedge funds, real estate opportunity funds, national lending institutions, bridge lenders, property owners, and developers in matters involving acquisitions and dispositions, developments and redevelopments, joint ventures, financings, distressed asset transactions, loan workouts, restructurings, foreclosures, and creditors’ rights issues.
With a practice that combines transactional, litigation, and restructuring experience, Leo helps clients navigate the full lifecycle of real estate investments, from acquisition and development through dispute resolution and asset recovery. He has extensive experience handling sophisticated real estate matters involving distressed portfolios, complex financing structures, and large-scale commercial projects.
