Laurie Grasso

Co-chair of the firm’s global real estate practice, Laurie represents real estate private equity funds, companies, institutional REITs, lenders, developers, investors, and other property owners in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, developments, financings, portfolio transactions, preferred equity investments, workouts, leasing, and real estate joint ventures. Her work touches all asset classes, including office, multifamily, mixed-use, affordable housing, hospitality, life sciences, industrial, retail, and condominium. Laurie also has an active capital markets and fund practice, representing investors in joint venture transactions and sophisticated fund and tax structures.

As an accomplished dealmaker, Laurie guides her clients in some the highest profile real estate transactions in the country, becoming a trusted member of their business. As an industry leader, she’s dedicated to the community, serving as co-chair and founding member of She Builds, a committee of Rebuilding Together NYC, and is a member of both the Project Destined Advisory Board and Bisnow’s Power Women Steering Committee. Her leadership and impact are regularly recognized by industry publications, including recently being named Commercial Observer’s Power 100 list for the third time, as well as by Crain’s in their “Notable Women in Law” listing, and their “Notable in Real Estate” listing.
