Jane Hinton

With European and global banking roots, Ms. Hinton brings a sophisticated, commercially informed perspective to complex commercial real estate and finance transactions and the issues most critical to their stakeholders. She represents financial institutions, investment funds, and other market participants in highly structured single-asset and portfolio commercial real estate transactions.

Her practice spans all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and portfolio property management, with a particular focus on structuring debt and equity transactions. Ms. Hinton has experience across a broad range of asset classes, including office, construction, retail, mixed-use, hotels and resorts, multifamily, including affordable housing, and industrial, as well as projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

She advises lenders and borrowers on complex mortgage financings, mezzanine financings, preferred equity, and other structured capital transactions. Ms. Hinton is also experienced in construction financings, leasehold mortgage financings, syndications, co-lending, and loan participations, and advises parties on workouts, cash-in refinancings, and other equity restructurings. She also has experience in the origination of mortgage loans for commercial mortgage-backed securities issuances and other capital markets transactions, including repurchase agreements and warehouse facilities.
