Kimberley E. Lunetta is a Shareholder in Vedder Price’s Miami office and a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment group.
Ms. Lunetta has spent her legal career representing employers in labor and employment matters, including defending employers in jury and bench trials in federal and state courts, in the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and other arbitration forums and before administrative agencies. She defends and counsels clients facing a range of labor and employment issues, with a focus on the financial services, life sciences and telecommunication industries. She also specializes in advising on employee medical leave and disability accommodations and defending against disability discrimination and failure to accommodate claims.
Ms. Lunetta also advises on background, credit check, drug testing, reproductive rights, firearm laws and reductions in force. She also litigates discrimination and harassment claims, enforcement of restrictive covenants and misappropriation of trade secrets.
Ms. Lunetta works closely with clients to identify and address their workplace and employment concerns. When necessary, she conducts internal investigations into discrimination, retaliation and other claims and provides sexual harassment, anti-discrimination, internal investigation, reasonable accommodation and other training for management and human resources personnel.
