Kevin Negangard is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal Disputes and Investigations in Chicago. He specializes in leading digital forensics, data analytics, and electronic discovery (“eDiscovery”) investigations for a variety of high-profile and confidential clients.
With more than 20 years of investigative consulting experience, Mr. Negangard is an expert in leading digital forensics and electronic discovery (“eDiscovery”) investigations. He has advised clients during anti-trust matters involving HSR 2nd requests and civil investigative demands, breach of contract, internal investigations, and intellectual property theft disputes.
Mr. Negangard’s experience includes work on many of the highest profile regulatory investigations around the world. His clients have included numerous Fortune 500 companies across a wide range of industries including Automotive, Energy, Banking, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Insurance, Financial Services, Industrial Services, and Telecommunications. He has led teams in securing data in a forensically sound and defensible manner and provided on-site forensic technology services on numerous investigations in various countries including China, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Mexico, and Argentina.
Mr. Negangard has extensive experience in providing clients with complex litigation and electronic discovery support through forensic data collection, data processing and analysis, and the management of large-scale document review projects.
Mr. Negangard currently manages clients’ eDiscovery needs throughout the entire discovery process, which includes planning and managing the initial collection phase, providing best-practice guidance, and overseeing full administration of the review process through the production stage.
Mr. Negangard has served as a testifying witness in matters involving computer forensics, electronically stored information (ESI) evidence handling, electronic evidence verification, e-Discovery operations, and the processes and procedures associated with the production of electronically stored information.
Mr. Negangard earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems and a master’s degree in cybersecurity and risk management from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business.
