Kevan Lee Deckelmann

Kevan Lee Deckelmann, a member of Dentons’ Corporate practice, is a strategic advisor for clients as they seek to grow, protect and operate their organizations. She counsels companies on merger and acquisition deals across a variety of industries including telecommunications, technology, manufacturing, and food and beverage. She advises clients on deal structure and strategy, working with them on identifying the correct buyer through the negotiation and drafting of documents, and the ultimate closing. She also represents clients on the buy-side who seek growth through acquisition of market competitors or strategic investment.

Kevan’s practice also includes a focus on the media, advertising and marketing issues all businesses face when engaged in email, social media and SMS marketing, including the engagement of endorsers and promotional campaigns. She advises clients to ensure compliance with state and federal data privacy regulations.

Kevan often acts as outside counsel to companies, advising on corporate governance and strategic planning. Kevan’s strong understanding of her clients’ operations and goals allows her to identify potential obstacles and the pathways to achieve significant results, in anticipation of a major transaction or to address and maintain the ongoing health of the enterprise.
