Katherine Reaves (Katie) is a partner in the Banking and Credit Practice in Simpson Thacher’s New York office. Katie represents top-tier private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as other public and private companies, on a broad spectrum of secured and unsecured financing transactions, including acquisition financings, asset-based lending facilities, recapitalizations, refinancings, distressed financing and other complex financing matters. Her clients have included Warburg Pincus, Brookfield, TPG, GTCR, Berkshire Partners, Google (and its parent company Alphabet Inc.), Honeywell and Verizon, among others.

Career

Practicing since 2010; Joined the Firm in 2024. Prior to joining Simpson Thacher, Katie was partner at another international law firm.
