Partner at Headrick Rizik Alvarez & Fernández since the year 2008 and Director of the Litigation Department. His litigation practice covers all principal areas of litigation and arbitration. He focuses primarily on criminal cases related to economic or financial fraud; litigation in the areas of civil liability, environmental responsibility, contractual conflicts and of commercial representation; judicial collection of debts; conflicts regarding competition law; labor and administrative litigation. He also advises his clients on preventive and corrective measures aimed at solving complex disputes. He continuously advises clients on labor matters, including procedures aimed at preventing litigation and termination of employees. He is also recognized for offering assistance in disputes and negotiations with unions.

The professional practice of Lic. Camejo has been notably recognized in Chambers Latin America – Leading Lawyers for Business, 2015 edition; in The Legal 500, 2014 edition; and in Latin Lawyer 250 – Latin America’s Leading Business Law Firms, 2015 edition, being highlighted in the latter for his work as a litigator.

Julio Camejo received his Law Degree (Cum Laude) from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 1995. In 1998, he obtained his Master’s Degree in Business Law and Economic Legislation from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM); and in 2007, he obtained a Diploma in Strategic Criminal Litigation from the Alberto Hurtado University of Chile. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
