Ms. Silié was promoted to partner in 2021. She concentrates her practice in the areas of business law, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory law (with emphasis in energy law) and administrative law. She also has experience in antitrust, real estate projects and tax. She regularly advises international and domestic clients on these matters.
Ms. Silié has participated in the major transactions of the Firm, with particular emphasis on corporate transactions within the power sector. She formed part of the drafting team during 2008-2009 of the Law Project for the Development of the Mortgage Market in the Dominican Republic, introducing a legal framework for trusts and security agents in the Dominican Republic (today promulgated as “Law No. 189.11”).
Dr. Silié received her Bachelor of Laws from Universidad Iberoamericana (Summa Cum Laude) in 2005. She has a postgraduate degree in Business Law from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, Madrid, Spain (2010) and an Executive Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Barna Management School.
Dr. Silié is a member of the Justice and Legislation Commission of the National Young Businessmen’s Association (ANJE), where she has participated in the review of numerous important legal initiatives.
Silié speaks Spanish and English fluently.
