Juan Jose Espaillat

Partner at Headrick. Admitted to professional practice in 2009. His practice focuses on the areas of conflict resolution, being prominent his participation in civil litigation involving contractual conflicts, execution of obligations, execution of guarantees, resolution of agreements, civil liability, among others. He has experience within the branches of administrative, labor and commercial arbitration law. Lic. Espaillat received his Law Degree, Cum Laude, from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in 2009. He obtained a Higher University Diploma in Civil Law from the University Paris II, Panthéon-Assas in 2011 and a Master II in General Private Law the the University Paris II, Panthéon-Assas in 2012.

He is a teacher at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra, in the subjects of Law of Obligations I and II. He is currently obtaining a master’s degree in Constitutional Law and Constitutional Procedure at the aforementioned university. He has authored opinion articles related to the law of obligations in the Gaceta Judicial magazine. He is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
