He recently advised on the IPOs of Petershill Partners, Airtel Africa, Vivo Energy, Sophos, Shawbrook, TSB Banking and Virgin Money; on rights issues by SSP, Aryzta, Cobham, FirstGroup and Barclays PLC; for HM Treasury on numerous sales and other transactions involving shares in Lloyds Banking Group and The Royal Bank of Scotland (now NatWest Group); on BP’s acquisition of BHP Billiton’s US unconventional assets, on Xstrata’s all share merger with Glencore, on Telecity’s acquisition by Equinix and on Vivo Energy’s acquisition by Vitol.
