John is a patent litigator but also has extensive experience with trademark, copyright, trade secrets, unfair competition, and other intellectual property claims. His cases have involved a wide range of technologies, and he has represented clients in matters before federal district courts throughout the United States, including the largest patent multidistrict litigation in history, as well as before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), and the International Trade Commission (ITC). He also acts as monitoring counsel for patent litigation insurers and serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
