Tim counsels clients on environmental compliance, liability, and litigation issues under federal, state, and local laws, with an emphasis on water quality and natural resources laws. He assists clients in obtaining wastewater discharge and wetlands permits under the federal Clean Water Act and similar state and local laws. Tim also has extensive experience with the regulation of coal combustion residuals (CCR). Tim’s clients include electric power producers, steel and aluminum manufacturers, chemical manufacturers, land developers, coal mining companies, and other large industrial operations. He also has extensive experience assisting clients in complying with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), as well as the Clean Air Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the National Historic Preservation Act.
