Jody is a partner in McCarthy Tétrault’s Business Law Group in Vancouver. Her practice focuses on infrastructure, projects and general corporate and commercial law. Jody has significant experience in infrastructure projects in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean, and provides advice throughout the full life cycle of a project, including in connection with project procurement, structuring, bidding, transactional matters and ongoing governance, management and operational issues. Recent transactions include acting as lead counsel in the negotiation of a 49 year lease for the Hamilton International Airport, advising an equity member on the acquisition of membership interests in the operator of LaGuardia Terminal B, advising the lead equity member and developer of the consortium selected by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for the US $4.2 billion John F. Kennedy International Airport Terminal 6 Redevelopment Project, advising a Canadian concession company on its sale of a 49.9% interest in the operator of the L.F. Wade International Airport (Bermuda), advising a transportation company in connection with a multi-jurisdictional syndicated financing arrangement, advising an airport operator on a partnership with a major Canadian air carrier and advising Canada’s second largest international airport on various financing and operational matters.
