Terri-Lee’s practice focuses on project-related issues in natural-resource development, specializing in regulatory, environmental, and Aboriginal law. She assists companies in environmental assessments and regulatory proceedings to secure approvals for major developments in the oil and gas, pipeline, mining (metal, potash, and diamond), natural-gas processing, petrochemical, electricity transmission, hydro, solar, wind, and energy storage sectors. Terri-Lee frequently advises on and negotiates agreements with Indigenous groups. She also represents clients before administrative tribunals in matters such as tolls and tariffs proceedings, regulatory investigations, and inquiries. Additionally, she provides strategic advice on ESG matters. Terri-Lee has appeared before the Canada Energy Regulator, Alberta Energy Regulator, Alberta Utilities Commission, Alberta Land and Property Rights Tribunal, British Columbia Utilities Commission, Alberta Natural Resources Conservation Board, Mackenzie Valley Environmental Impact Review Board, Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board, and federal-provincial joint review panels for environmental assessment proceedings.
