Career
João Laudo de Camargo has been practicing business and corporate law for over 45 years.
Before joining Bocater Advogados, he was a partner in the law firm Laudo de Camargo, a Rio de Janeiro Municipal Prosecutor, Director of the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), Legal Director of BNDES Participações S.A. (BNDESPAR), Member of the Boards of Directors of BNDES, BNDESPAR and FINAME, and of the BNDES Social, Environmental and Climate Responsibility Committee, General Coordinator of the IBGC Chapter in Rio de Janeiro and a member of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC).
João Laudo gives lectures on topics related to corporate governance and is the author of articles published in newspapers and specialized magazines. He is a lecturer at the Training Courses promoted by the IBGC and a member of the Brazilian Lawyers Institute (IAB).
