Joanne Canning

Joanne is a Partner on our Finance team, with a particular focus on property finance.

She is one of the key members of our national Real Estate Finance practice.

Joanne acts for a wide range of lenders in relation to Real Estate Finance, including Santander UK PLC, HSBC Bank PLC, Lloyds Bank PLC, Deutsche Bank, Nationwide Building Society, UBS and The Royal Bank of Scotland PLC.

She has been involved in designing and delivering national training on real estate finance, and her particular area of specialty is acting on lending transactions, which are nonstandard and include complex structures and security. Joanne also specializes in property restructuring and acts for a large number of clients on receiverships and other property restructuring and insolvency matters.

In addition to her Real Estate Finance practice, Joanne also acts for clearing banks on large corporate and acquisition finance and has recently advised on several multijurisdictional corporate lending deals.
