Partner. Mr. Hortalà advises corporate groups with a strong international profile. He specializes in international taxation and transfer pricing, enabling his clients to be taxed in line with their value chain.
He lectures on international taxation in the bachelor of laws at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (Barcelona). He speaks regularly at international conferences in Europe and America.
He joined the Spanish administration as State Finance auditor, he was the delegate of the Ministry of the Economy and Finance; chief inspector of the Barcelona tax authorities; and national expert at the European Commission in Brussels.
Mr. Hortalà has published several books on taxation, in addition to over 60 articles in Spanish and foreign journals on international taxation, ecommerce, transfer pricing, and financial assets.
