Jidong Huo

Mr. Huo Jidong has specialized in corporate, securities, finance, and commercial dispute resolution.

霍吉栋律师的执业领域主要集中在公司、证券、金融，以及商事争议解决。

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Huo was a lecturer at a university's law department, where he taught civil and corporate law. In March 2004, he began his legal practice at Gansu Zhengtianhe Law Firm. His commitment and proficiency earned him a promotion to partner in 2013, during which time he also took on the role of head of the Financial and Securities Business Department. In March 2022, Mr. Huo played a pivotal role, alongside several esteemed lawyers from Gansu Province, in launching the Lanzhou branch of SGLA Law Firm, assuming the title of senior partner.

霍吉栋律师执业前曾在某高校法律系任教，讲授民法和公司法课程。2004年3月，霍吉栋律师开始在甘肃正天合律师事务所执业，2013年晋升合伙人并担任正天合律师事务所金融证券业务部负责人。2022年3月，霍吉栋律师和其他几位甘肃省资深律师牵头成立了中联律师事务所兰州办公室，并担任中联律师事务所兰州办公室高级合伙人。

Mr. Huo serves as the member of the Financial Professional Committee of the All China Lawyers Association, the director of the Financial, Securities, and Insurance Professional Committee of the Gansu Lawyers Association, the director of the Gansu Province Lawyers Association.

霍吉栋律师担任中华全国律师协会金融专业委员会委员、甘肃省律师协会金融证券保险专业委员会主任、甘肃省律师协会理事。

Mr. Huo is renowned for his ability to blend theoretical knowledge with its practical application He has authored more than 20 scholarly articles that showcase his expertise and leadership in legal scholarship. The representative ones among his publications are: “On Strict Liability in Contract Law” (Gansu Social Sciences, Volume 3, 2002)， “Bankruptcy Reorganization and Creditor Interest Protection”,(Collection of Excellent Papers from the Fourth China Bankruptcy Law Forum, 2011), “The COVID-19 Pandemic: Force Majeure or Change in Circumstances? A Comprehensive Analysis of the Impact of the Epidemic on Monetary Debt Performance, with Comments on the NPC Law Committee's Response to Journalists”(Adjudication Studies, February 13, 2020) etc.

霍吉栋律师善于总结及理论联系实践，先后撰写了20多篇专业文章，其中较为有代表性的包括：《论合同法中的严格责任》（《甘肃社会科学》2002年第3期）、《破产重整与债权人利益保护》（《第四届中国破产法论坛优秀论文集》，2011年）、《新冠肺炎疫情，不可抗力抑或情势变更：兼评全国人大法工委答记者问并浅析疫情对金钱债务履行的影响》（《审判研究》，2020年2月13日）等。
