Career
Jesús Almoguera set up his own boutique eleven years ago to advise on complex disputes and R&I. Before, he was the first partner of Ashurst LLP in Spain, where he led the Corporate and Restructuring practices (2001-2013) and co-headed the Litigation and Arbitration department (2001-2007).
He has served as co-arbitrator and president of arbitral tribunals in numerous commercial arbitrations, both domestic and international, before the main international arbitration courts (including the ICC, LCIA and SAC).
He was professor of Commercial Law at ICADE, Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Spain until 2017.
His firm specialises on complex and sophisticated litigation and arbitration, generally relating to M&A, capital markets, shareholders’ relationships, finance, antitrust, and R&I and has a remarkable track record in brokering settlement agreements.

Member of the Bar of Madrid. Vice-president of the Spanish Court of Arbitration (Corte Española de Arbitraje). Member of the ICC Institute of World Business Law, LCIA, CIMA, CAM, and the Arbitration Centre of the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Member of the Academic Council of Fundación para la Investigación sobre el Derecho y la Empresa (FIDE).
