Saugata Mukherjee

Saugata is a structured and asset finance expert with a particular focus on aviation finance. He also advises clients in respect of structured products, derivatives and general banking matters.

Saugata acts for banks, lessors, funds and airlines. His experience includes secured lending structures, ECA-backed bond and loan financings, JOLs, JOLCOs, portfolio acquisitions, pre-delivery payment (PDP) financings and operating leases.

Saugata also has expertise in all classes of OTC derivatives, including equities, credit, commodities, fx products, structured repos and stock loans. He has represented banks and funds on bond-financed projects, collateralised debt obligations (CDOs), margin-lending trades and structured investment vehicles.
