Jessica Lam

Jessica's litigation practice focuses on the defence of class actions and other complex claims related to product liability and consumer protection. She has particular expertise in the life sciences industry and regularly acts for leading manufacturers and distributors of pharmaceutical medicines, medical devices and other health and consumer products. Jessica has also acted for clients in numerous other industries, including manufacturers and distributors of automobiles, cannabis, and food and beverage products.

Jessica regularly provides proactive advice to clients on product warnings, recalls and litigation risks, as well as on issues relating to privacy and freedom of information, licensing, indemnification, and consumer warranties.

During her articles, Jessica completed a secondment in the legal department of one of Canada's largest medical devices companies, where she worked on a variety of litigation, regulatory and commercial matters.
