Practice Areas

Partner (and head of the London team) in Eversheds Sutherland’s pensions practice of over 70 lawyers. Considerable pensions law expertise including risk management strategies, benefit changes, international benefits and scheme governance (DC/DB). Recent experience includes advising trustees and employers on scheme funding and security arrangements, mergers, GDPR and cyber issues, transfers to master trusts (DC/DB), and buy-outs.

Career

MA (Hons) University of Oxford (Hertford College) 1994; qualified 1999 into Linklaters’ pensions team; Macfarlanes’ pensions team 2004-2006; joined Eversheds Sutherland in 2006 and made partner in 2008. Elected member of the Eversheds Sutherland International and Global Boards. Partner lead for the firm’s Wellbeing programme. Named in The Lawyer's Hot 100 lawyers for 2011.
