As a partner in the Dispute Resolution practice, Jean-Philippe is consistently involved in high-stakes, complex cases that often include a public law component. He has appeared before various tribunals and courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada, where he has pleaded as lead counsel on multiple occasions. He has specific expertise in defending clients against class actions, enforcement action as well as in launching judicial reviews. He has an excellent track record at all levels of courts across a range of issues, including alleged breach of consumer protection legislation and constitutional challenges. He also has an expertise in health law, providing counsel and representation to two major associations of health professionals. He is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America and a recipient of the Benchmark Canada Impact Case of the Year 2020 Award. He obtained his LLM from the University of Cambridge (First Class Honours). He sits on the Board of Health and Education Now!, an organization involved in community development in Benin.
