Jan Peter IJspeert is a partner in the CMS Real Estate & Construction Practice Group and advises on high value, cross border real estate development and transactional matters. His practice covers large scale project development, international asset and share transactions, and corporate real estate structuring. He acts for globally active as well as nationally operating project developers, asset managers, investors and end users on complex development agreements, joint venture arrangements, and leasing matters.
With more than two decades of experience spanning private practice and in house real estate development, Jan Peter combines deep sector knowledge with a pragmatic, commercially focused approach. He joined CMS in 2013 and became partner in 2023, following earlier roles at TCN Property Projects and Van Doorne.
He is active within leading industry platforms, including Dilas and the Vereniging Vastgoed Juristen, and teaches annually PropertyNL’s Masterclass Bakstenen of aandelen (Asset or share deal). He works in Dutch, English and German.
