Jacobo specialises in tax planning for domestic and cross-border transactions involving Spanish and foreign multinational groups.

Throughout his career, he has devoted much of his work to tax planning for acquisitions, efficient financing of transactions, post-acquisition integrations (mergers and similar operations) of large multinational groups and private equity, implementation of holding and financing structures and tax-efficient strategies for cash repatriation and movement of funds, as well as conducting due diligence processes.

Career

With more than 16 years of experience, Jacobo joined Evergreen Legal in September 2022 after a long career in tax practice, having worked in the corporate transactions (M&A) and capital markets teams of Deloitte and KPMG Abogados. He has significant experience in proceedings before the tax authorities and is an associate lecturer on several specialised tax Master’s degrees at IE Law School.
