Iván Blume specializes in labor and employment law, he has handled many advisory services focusing on labor, compliance, migration issues, lawsuits and inspections.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked at different local and international law firms, including a leading law firm in Lima, Dechert LLP in New York and another renowned firm from Bogotá, where he advised on labor matters and transactions, as well as advising LATAM companies on data protection. He is also the director of a leading company engaging in the manufacture and distribution of beverages.

He is a member of Sociedad Peruana de Derecho del Trabajo y de la Seguridad Social (Peruvian association promoting and disseminating labor law and social security law) and of the Callao Bar Association, as well as a member of the panel of experts of The Law Reviews (labor and migration matters) and One Trust Data Guidance (data protection).

He lectures on master’s degree programs at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas and ESAN.

He is the author of a book on equal pay and has published law articles in several specialized journals and other print media.

- Advising OGLETREE DEAKINS on the implementation of Oceana’s Code of Conduct

- Advising YINSON RENEWABLES, which includes reviewing and drafting employment contracts, implementing mandatory labour policies, and providing ongoing advice
