• Finance: The team offers legal advice on structuring and implementing all types of financing transactions, whether structured, fixed income or securitization transactions. Last year, the firm advised on some of the most important cases in the international market, including the acquisition of a series of technological platforms for Software AG in Spain, Portugal, and Chile (€2.1 billion); the financing for building the Puerto Salgar–Barrancabermeja and Sabana de Torres–Curumaní road corridors in Colombia (USD 1.3 billion); the bank loan and private placement to finance acquiring, building and operating a water pumping system for Antofagasta Minerals to be developed by Transelec and Almar Water (USD 1.2 billion); and the financing provided by SMBC, Inbursa, Monex, BancoSabadellMexico and MegaBank to refinance the Gasoducto de Morelos (Mexico) debt and fund the potential acquisition of additional assets in the hydrocarbon sector (USD 235 million)
