Holly Clegg

Holly enjoys a busy Inquest Practice, regularly undertaking work in the Coroner’s Court acting for a wide range of Interested Persons.

She has developed a specialism in cases involving public authorities, ‘Article 2’ inquests and those involving a Jury. She regularly represents Local Authorities, the Police and Prison Healthcare and is excellent at understanding potential difficulties and how to minimise their impact on a case. Her Inquest Practice complements her Public Law, Regulatory and Criminal work which helps to provide Holly with a practical and in-depth knowledge of the relevant protocols and procedures that might be involved as well as potential wider implications in other jurisdictions in certain circumstances.

Holly has a delicate, approachable courtroom manner which is well suited to inquests and the sensitive issues that often arise.

Holly has also appeared in cases involving the Health and Safety Executive and was recently elevated to B panel on the Specialist Regulatory Panel of Advocates.
