Practice Areas
Peter’s practise is focused exclusively in the area of fraudulent personal injury claims. He has worked in this area since the same emerged as an endemic problem in the early 2000’s and has very substantial experience of the same. His clients include many of the major insurance companies. Whilst Peter continues to undertake conferences, paperwork and interim hearings, the majority of his professional time is now spent on trial advocacy.
Peter has extensive experience of the numerous forms of suspicious/fraudulent claims including low speed impact claims, bogus passenger claims, deliberately induced collisions, staged accidents, fabricated accidents and fraud rings. He often acts for insurers who have withdrawn indemnity from their insurer clients. Such work frequently involves special damages claims for recovery, storage, hire and rehabilitation charges.
