Gurjit joined the firm as a trainee in 1993 and has been here all of his career, during which time he’s held various senior roles including the Global Head of Real Estate from 2019 to 2023.

His current focus is the Real Estate Sector, using his experience to work with clients as trusted advisor across the full breadth of the Real Estate Sector.

Gurjit is client relationship partner for Blackstone Group, Capital & Regional plc, Land Securities plc, and Paradise (JV between Federated Hermes and MEPC), to deliver a world class office-led development. All of these are clients he’s introduced to our firm and developed our relationship with over decades.

His experience spans from advising listed and private property companies and institutions to inward investors and sovereign wealth funds. During his 30 years he’s advised across the full breadth of development, investment and management in the real estate sector, including office, residential, healthcare, leisure, retail, and industrial schemes.

Some of the projects Gurjit and his team have advised on include: Blackstone Group’s redevelopment, letting and sale of the Adelphi Tower in the City; redevelopment of Grand Central and New Street Station opposite Network Rail; LDC’s sale of the NEC group to Blackstone; development of the Bullring Birmingham, Cabot Circus Bristol and Westgate Oxford shopping centers; purchase of Landsec’s retail outlets portfolio and sale of numerous assets, regeneration of Masshouse (office and residential led scheme); and ECE Group’s forward funding, purchase and development of Dandara Group’s BTTR residential portfolio.

Gurjit is also proudly the firm’s first Global Social Mobility Partner, using his own background and experience to drive positive change in the legal and real estate industries. He is Patron of LandAid, the real estate industry’s charity to end Youth Homelessness and Board member of the Academy of Real Assets which strives to make the real estate sector accessible to 16-19 year olds from inner-city disadvantaged areas.

He would be proud to be your relationship partner and leverage his wealth of experience to add value to your business.
