With over 18 years of experience in complex international trade and energy cases, Gerardo’s practice focuses on international trade, import and export projects related to "maquila" operations, complex tariff classification, Free Trade Agreements, customs valuation, contractual supply chain and anti-dumping procedures.
Gerardo also has vast experience in the energy sector. In recent years, he has challenged many regulations against the free market affecting private companies through unconstitutionality lawsuits. Additionally, he has obtained energy permits granted by the Energy Regulatory Commission and government authorizations for solar parks regarding tariff relief, as well as permits for the import and distribution of fuels.
