Ana Sofía’s practice focuses on corporate law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and Private Clients. She has extensive experience advising individuals and family groups on wealth-related and strategic matters, including long-term planning, investment structuring, and governance. She provides comprehensive counsel to both public and private companies, with a strong specialization in corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Ana Sofía is recognized for designing and implementing governance frameworks that promote institutional sustainability and long-term growth.

Her experience includes corporate regularizations and the restructuring of business groups, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, spin-offs, and liquidation processes. She serves on the boards of directors of Mexican and international companies across a variety of industries. In addition, she has participated as a speaker and panelist at national and international forums and has authored numerous articles published in leading legal journals.

Ana Sofía also serves as Chair of the Firm’s Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Committee and Women’s Committee.

Ana Sofía joined CHEVEZ and was admitted as a Partner in 2019.
