Gavin graduated with a distinction in his masters in Legal Science from Queen’s University, Belfast in 2009 and obtained his professional qualification from the Institute of Professional Legal Studies, Queen’s University, Belfast in 2011.

Gavin trained and practised as a solicitor at another global law firm before joining Carson McDowell in September 2014. Gavin practices in the firm’s Construction and Engineering team and is involved in all aspects of non-contentious contract drafting and negotiating, as well as contentious construction disputes involving adjudications, arbitrations and litigation in the High Court.
