Gary has significant experience in disputes about noise, easements and boundaries.
Gary appeared successfully in the landmark Court of Appeal property identity fraud case of P&P/Dreamvar. This has led Gary to be instructed in many professional negligence cases arising from property fraud. Gary regularly appears in cases concerning fires and floods often having to deal with landlord and tenant, property rights, insurance and negligence issues.
In 2020 Gary was appointed a Recorder of the Crown Court and in 2015 he was appointed a Bencher of the Middle Temple. He was the Chair of the Chancery Bar’s Wellbeing and Social Responsibility Committee from 2020 until 2025.
