Federico Scheffler

Federico co-leads the Tax practice at the Firm with a speciality in Tax Consultancy and a focus on M&A transactions, venture capital, corporate and project finance, and capital markets, among others.

He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a Specialization in Tax Law from Universidad Panamericana. He also obtained an Executive MBA (MEDEX) from IPADE.

He is a member of the Mexican Bar Association (MBA), International Fiscal Association (IFA) and Young IFA Network (YIN). He is also a mentor at Endeavor Mexico, a high-impact entrepreneurship network.

He is recognized as an expert and leading lawyer by renowned international publications, such as Chambers Latin American Guide, Chambers Global Guide and International Tax Review (ITR World Tax), in the practice of Tax: Non-Contentious or Tax Consulting.
