Notable cases: Travelport Limited & Ors v Wex; Olding & Ors v Wex  (expedited preliminary issues trial before the Commercial Court surrounding the proper construction of, and burden of proof in relation to, the definition of a Material Adverse Effect within an SPA); Autonomy Corporation Limited v Lynch and Hussain (claims for breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract and misrepresentation relating to the acquisition of Autonomy by the HP group), CCUK Finance Ltd v Barclays Bank plc  EWHC 304 (Comm) (claim concerning alleged mis-selling of PBP in relation to a portfolio of credit cards), Re Coroin Limited  EWCA Civ 781 (s.994 petition concerning the ownership of three well-known London hotels), BG Global Energy Ltd & ors v Talisman Sinopec Energy UK Limited  EWHC 110 (Comm) (trial of preliminary issues relating to the proper interpretation of a transportation, processing and operating services agreement), and an LCIA Arbitration (relating to the interpretation and application of force majeure provisions in a contract for difference).
