Practice Areas

Throughout her years at the Bar Elizabeth has deliberately maintained a balance in her practice between financial remedies proceedings and private law children disputes. She is regularly instructed against silks.

In cases concerning the welfare of children, Elizabeth’s practice often involves cases with complex factual backgrounds or niche legal issues that require both confident strategic advice and court presentation.

She acts in financial remedies proceedings for both married and unmarried parties and her practice includes cases with high profile individuals, complicated factual issues and high value assets within complicated trust or corporate structures. Elizabeth is equally at ease negotiating settlements as she is on her feet in court.

Elizabeth has a busy ADR practice. She is one of a limited number of arbitrators qualified under both of IFLA’s finance and children schemes practice which also makes her particularly well placed to provide early neutral evaluations in private FDRs and private DRAs.
