Practices exclusively in Family Law and areas related to the breakdown of family relationships. Christopher undertakes all aspects of children work, often where the most serious allegations are considered by the Court and complex medical/expert evidence has been filed (eg death of, or serious injury to, a child or where the involvement of a paedophile 'ring' is suspected). He has also developed a specialism in cases involving an international element (typically leave to remove applications) and was instructed in a landmark case in the Court of Appeal in which a foreign state's Central Authority intervened: Re CB (A Child)  EWCA Civ 888. He has been instructed in a number of cases concerning applications for Judicial Review and/or the grant of injunctions pursuant to s7 of the HRA 1998. He also regularly represents high net worth clients in financial remedy cases and appears in cases that involve issues such as assets abroad, trusts and complex business assets. In addition to his busy caseload, Christopher has presented numerous lectures and workshops on diverse topics such as: Leave to Remove, provision under Sch 1 CA 1989, circumventing nuptial contracts, forensic testing, intractable hostility in CA 1989 cases and farming divorces.
