Practice Areas

Represents clients, employers and executives in the areas of employment, workers' compensation and business immigration law. Assists employers with policy development and enforcement, non-competes and other restrictive covenants, business visas and compliance with immigration laws, complex disability/FMLA issues, litigation and workers' compensation strategy and provides training on drug testing, harassment and FMLA issues.

Career

Chair of the Iowa Commission on the Status of Women, serves on the Iowa Department of Human Rights Board, is a member of the Board of Directors for the Des Moines Pastoral Counseling Center, a member of the Board of Directors of House of Mercy and is a graduate of and a past member of the Board of Governors of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute.
