David Pryzbylski is a labor relations counselor and employment law adviser for employers across the United States. He resolves complex legal challenges by integrating business strategy with a practical understanding of workforce dynamics. David advises companies in a wide range of industries, including steel, health care, mining, grocery, telecommunications, construction, automotive, manufacturing, technology, and retail.
Much of David’s practice involves advising employers on traditional labor matters. His experience includes collective bargaining, work stoppages, arbitrations, union avoidance strategies and training, union representation elections, unfair labor practice charges, and contract administration. He has worked with numerous labor unions across the country, including the Steelworkers, Teamsters, Sheet Metal Workers, Longshoremen, Boilermakers, CWA, UFCW, UAW, IAM, IBEW, BTCGM, SEIU, and various trade unions such as the Carpenters, Pipefitters, and Laborers.
Maintaining a well-rounded practice, David provides the full range of employment services. He defends employers in class and collective actions, as well as individual cases involving alleged wrongful discharge, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wage-related claims. He also handles breach of contract disputes and worker classification matters. In addition, David defends clients in high-stakes qui tam actions, often initiated by current or former employees and brought under the False Claims Act.
As a proactive counselor, David advises clients on day-to-day employment and labor issues. This includes reviewing and drafting employment policies, conducting training across the labor and employment spectrum, and providing guidance on complex employee relations matters.
Beyond his practice, David is a nationally recognized thought leader on labor relations. His commentary and insights are frequently featured in publications such as Bloomberg, The New York Times, Law360, The Wall Street Journal, and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), among others. He has also appeared on podcasts and national media programming, including the Fox Business Network.
In recognition of his thought leadership, the National Law Review has twice named David a Go-To Thought Leader, including in its inaugural edition. He was also named to Law360’s Employment Authority Labor Board in 2026.
