Jacquelyn “Jackie” Papish is an accomplished attorney with nearly a decade of experience defending companies and executives in internal investigations, government investigations, criminal prosecutions and complex civil litigation related to healthcare fraud and abuse matters involving the False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, among others. Jackie also serves as outside compliance and investigations counsel to health systems and life sciences companies. Her work is concentrated on the healthcare and life sciences industries but has spanned a number of others, including technology and financial services.
Before joining Barnes & Thornburg in 2022, Jackie previously practiced at leading national and international law firms representing both plaintiffs and defendants in virtually all stages of litigation, from early dispute resolution through appeal. Jackie also clerked for the Hon. William S. Duffey, Jr. (Ret.) of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and assisted Judge Duffey when he sat by designation on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
