David leads Dentons’ US Transportation and Rail practice and the U.S. region of its Global Transportation and Infrastructure Sector. His practice focuses on business and regulatory issues, particularly transportation and competition, the development of robust long-term commercial relationships within regulatory structures, and the management of transition in changing business and legal environments. His extensive experience ranges across rail mergers and acquisitions, rate and competition issues, equipment leasing, construction, safety, and environmental issues, and negotiations and litigation concerning relationships between freight hosts and passenger rail carriers, particularly Amtrak. David represents public and private entities in commercial, administrative, and litigation matters, working closely with clients to define and achieve their business goals.
