A partner in the Dispute Resolution and Technology practices, Corey represents clients in complex and high-stakes litigation and crises. Recognized as a skilled, resourceful and dedicated litigator, he has a proven track record of securing successful outcomes for his clients in a wide array of disputes, including commercial, competition, cybersecurity, securities, estate, insurance, and regulatory matters. Corey also leverages his background and experience in cyber law to counsel clients on data breach response, cybersecurity governance, and data privacy. Given his years working at the New York office of an international law firm, Corey regularly advises international clients on cross-border disputes and the nuances of Canadian litigation. Corey teaches “Trial Advocacy” and has taught a Focus Week course on “Introduction to U.S. Civil Litigation” at McGill University’s Faculty of Law. Corey also frequently speaks on cybersecurity and privacy matters at conferences in Québec, Ontario and the United States. He is the co-chair of the New York State Bar Association, International Section, International Data Privacy and Data Protection Committee, and of PrivacyConnect’s Montréal chapter.
