Connor Atkinson

Connor is a Senior Associate in our Restructuring team based in Leeds.

He has experience across all aspects of corporate restructuring and insolvency matters (both non-contentious and contentious) with additional experience in banking and finance matters. Connor advises a broad range of lenders, insolvency professionals (in their capacity as insolvency office holders) and corporate clients on all areas of restructuring and insolvency situations.

Connor’s recent experience includes: (i) advising on a number of high profile ‘pre-pack’ administration sales (advising both administrators and buyers across separate matters); (ii) advising administrators in relation to multiple distressed energy supply companies; (iii) advising lenders on a number of high profile financial restructurings; and (iv) advising fixed charge receivers in relation to the disposal of a portfolio of high value properties.

Connor has a particular interest in international and cross-border matters and regularly works with restructuring and banking colleagues across multiple jurisdictions. He has completed multiple secondments with our German restructuring team and has been jointly published in the leading German insolvency journal exploring ‘hybrid claims’ in English and German insolvency proceedings.
