Chris is President of Archer and Chair of the firm’s Litigation Department. With 40 years of experience, he represents national, regional, and local corporations in complex civil and commercial litigation across a wide range of areas, including environmental, employment, construction, toxic tort/product liability, insurance, and contract disputes. He serves as long-standing counsel to major companies such as South Jersey Industries, Hess Corporation, and Crown Cork & Seal, and advises public entities—including the Delaware River Port Authority—on matters involving federal, state, and local laws.

Recognized as one of New Jersey’s leading environmental litigators, Chris handles high-stakes, multi-party matters involving Superfund and RCRA disputes, NRD claims, and remediation projects under CERCLA. He has extensive experience negotiating with the EPA and NJDEP and guiding clients through the purchase, sale, and cleanup of environmentally impacted sites. Known for his strategic mindset and practical risk management, Chris is trusted by both private and public clients to resolve disputes efficiently while advancing broader business and regulatory goals.
