John is Chair of Archer’s Public Finance Group and has over 25 years of experience advising on all aspects of municipal finance. He serves as bond counsel to numerous New Jersey counties, municipalities, boards of education, and local authorities, regularly appearing before the Local Finance Board. John helps public entities develop creative, cost-effective financing solutions, including traditional debt issuance and financing through the New Jersey Infrastructure Bank and USDA.
John’s practice includes structuring and implementing tax-exempt and taxable financings such as general obligation bonds, lease financings, revenue bonds, and 501(c)(3) bonds. He represents issuers, underwriters, and public agencies in connection with infrastructure, redevelopment, and public facility projects. A former clerk for the Office of the Governor’s Counsel, John is also active in his Monmouth County community.
