Christian began his career at a construction company and by doing so he came in contact with a large amount of construction contracts and standard contracts used in the market. Christian has also worked at the County Administrative Board of Skåne as a procurement coordinator, assisting the organization in all types of procurement stages, such as contract monitoring and educating employees in public procurement. In addition, Christian worked with appeals of decisions under the Planning and Building Act and the Environmental Code. After the provincial government Christian was working at the Administrative Court in Malmö with all the trials of contracts based LOU, LUF and LOV. He also worked with other types of appeals against authority, such as decisions regarding video surveillance and serving permits.
